But Except for Stand By Me and Misery...Stephen King movies are a total waste of time.???
Shawshank Redemption? The Green Mile? Hearts in Atlantis? The Shining?
Some of the movies were crap, I'll agree, but not all.
King is one of my favourite authors, I think he and I are on the same wavelength on various levels. Lisey's Story I found amazing, the story of a marriage told from a widow's perspective. And Blaze was touching, the most endearing bad guy in any book. The movie version of The Stand wasn't great, but the book was.
Anyway, chacun a son gout.
