In my opinion Perinno is the ultimate admission: They don't care. They don't even care to try out believable nonsense from the mouth of a cleverly spoken person anymore. They know that last 28-30%, given a spineless congress, will keep them in power while they continue to act however they want. Those 'dead enders' will march on demand and defend them however they are told to do so. They know they have nothing to win in the American political consciousness anymore, and also: nothing to lose. Perinno is the most incompetent, slow, and obvious public speaker I have ever seen play the part of press secretary. She is outclassed, hopelessly.
