As to what will or will not be sent 50 years from now on a manned Mars mission is very close to immaterial right currently. I'm pretty sure they will use cold fusion...non of this dangerous fission stuff 8-).

Tell us how much plutonium is in the MSL's RTG, Ed?

And I would note right now the other anti-nuke nutcases don't seem to be rallying over this danger like they did with Galileo and Cassini. So are you now an anti-nuke nutcase, but only for Mars missions...pretty selective.
