We've discussed this sooooo much over the years, I'm sure he knows. We all want our space initiatives to be at the forefront, but going about it this way really leaves a sour taste.
So many things are important. Space, Astronomy and Physics hold many answeres to our questions and they are all important, EQUALLY important. Scientists know what is to be held as high importance and I'm sure that they are acting accordingly. Deaming something important for the sake of another is not going to work since attention has and is also being given to such. In E.P.'s sake, NEO detection and safeguards.
Good grief, I've been hoping for Kepler to fly for years as well as New Horizons.
