Yeah, that was a balanced piece Heinlein is loved by old conservative men, everyone else (aka the "good people") ignore his works.
"Deconstructing Heinlein" should have been the title.
And here's an ode to LA for you...(just to tick you off some more) I would've hired Rita Moreno to sing it and dance for you, but she was unavailable at this short notice. ;-)
Los Angeles 'o my hearts devotion...
...let it sink back in the ocean.
Always a smogstorm a blowing
Always the population growing
And homeowners owing
And the graffiti teaming
And the natives steaming
'Cause the traffics creeping
And the neighbors screaming
I like the peace of the desert
Ok by me in the desert
Beautiful scenes the desert
Seeing the sunset is so nice
No parking meters with high price
Few robbers fleeing murder crime scene
Few donut eaters in pursuit at high speed
Orders mostly right in the desert
No speaking thrice in the desert
Industrial boom in the desert
No twenty in a room in the desert
No LA Times in the desert!
Apologies to Leonard Bernstein.
