was not at all what I expected. [I purposely did not read anyones' comments...and I still have not.]
I, for some reason, was able to observe the whole situation as if I were a student [from the future] reading a history book.
I stayed somewhat objective...and mused that how glaringly simple and obvious it all is...after the fact.
The simple fact is there is no truth. Only perspective of a truth. I can not control anything about any of this other than what I think about it, and then...it is only from my point of view.
All any of us can do is to maintain a deep core value system, and adhere to that. We tolerate what works for us...and we maintain. We abhore what does not....and we retaliate.
I understand the complexities of polarization better now.
History is destined to repeat itself....because people are quite predictable...and unbelievably selfish.
When the age of true enlightenment transcends the earth...none of this will be of any importance because the true value of existence will dominate....and it is individualism/freewill with altruistic compassion.
I will not be privy to this great change...because it is too far away...
We are in a neoconservative phase of fear, maybe....but honestly..our whole existence is based on fear....always has been. So what else is new?
My question is: Why do we allow fear to dominate us in the first place? What are we REALLY afraid of?
