Dude

I distinguished between human custom and animal behavior "in nature". Though if you look at all of human history, you'll find that the principle that women have a choice in the matter of sex is, unfortunately, a relatively recent one. And not yet a universal principle, judging by the recent case of the forced-marriage of a 14-yo girl in that Mormon splinter sect, and the general dogma in conservative religions that a wife must "submit" to the will of her husband. And then there's Islam's treatment of women.

You're making the mistake of extrapolating the values of our (Western industrial) society as if they're universal and based on human nature. They're not, and respect for and equal treatment of women is very much a culturally-dependent principle. That's good news: Hardwired human nature is very hard to change, but cultures can evolve and grow.
