I doubt it was the Republicans. I would think the Republicans would want Edwards to win. Hillary or Obama will be hard to beat in the Presidential election. Edwards odds are not as good IMO.

I want Edwards to win the Democrat nominee, but not for those reasons. I actually like the guy and I agree with about half of his policies. If we have to have a Democrat for president, I hope it is him. I truly believe he is honest and sincere. I donâ€™t feel that way about Hillary or Obama.
