Kiss of death?
Were I a candidate and Kerry offered an endorsement, I think I'd turn him down.
From what I read, Kerry and Edwards have been on the outs because Edwards continually tried to get Kerry to fight back against the slurs leveled at him and look into the charges of voter fraud in Ohio. I've also heard that part of why Cheney tore apart Edwards in the debate was he was under orders from Kerry to not be too combative.
Kerry was a wimp. Hardly Edward's style.
