Do you really believe all that stuff?

Imposing democracy is one of the tactics they advocate, but what's important is that their goals are expansionist and, in a very real sense, represent a 21st Century reworking of imperialism. Hegemony is just imperialism on the cheap: All the benefits of power and control without the expense and mess of conquest and direct rule.

"Imposing democracy... a 21st century reworking of imperialism."

Sure - and the founding father's created the United States because they were cheap guys who hated payng high taxes at gunpoint.

The replacing of a dictatorship with a democracy is "imperialism on the cheap"

And "expansionist" goals for democracy are a bad thing?

Where and how is this "power and control" achieved? Is that like France helping us against Britain back in the 18th century? Are we Beholden to France? Does France exert power and control over us by helping to "impose democracy" on the British colonies with an activist group of disgruntled colonists?

You see Robert, history proves you wrong. Democracy is NOT imperialism. It is one of the cornerstones of human freedom. When IRAQ has real elections two hundred years from now, America's influence will be just a dim memory, a little piece of history found in an data packet somewhere.

British, German, Belgium, Danish and French imperialism involved no democracy. It was just a takeover, pure and simple with the appointment of regional liaisions and representatives. Communist expansion was done in the same manner.

Your, and the rest of the far lefts, besmirching of democracy into a form of imperialism is worthy of the communist spin-meisters.

That you and the rest of the left equate democracy with imperialism is not surprising. After all you are just on tiny part of the greater fascist-left, who see nothing wrong with taking away people's freedoms one by one (for their own good and the good of the state!)

Naturally, true democracy, capitalism, etcetera is repugnant to you because you fear a loss of power in a free market without socialist controls. Toilets, lightbulbs, thermostats and electricity and water usage and everything else you buy and own needs to be controlled by the state. And to pay for all this ever growing in-your-face fascism, the rich need to be soaked.

Even calling your dad "Attilla" is par for the course.

Distort, twist and self-delude.
