I feel half guilty about Ashcroft

I really detested him. He is a fellow Missourian. However, I think I maligned him too much. He, after all, stood up to the Bush Administration when they tried to get him to sign off on another breech of our civil rights while he was in the hospital seriously ill after his substitute had already said, "no" to it..

Sorry, John. I still don't agree with your politics, but, dammit, you showed class!
