I'm praying I recoup by holdng fast. Pulling out, I'd never recoup. I have a conservative mix. Not conservative enough IMO at the moment but it's about as conservative as you can get without being totally into Traditional (Guaranteed).

I refinanced my house about 3 years ago and I have a 20 year fixed rate at 5.875%. My jaw dropped at what they valued my house at but I didn't go near that figure in my refinance. Stayed about 30% below that. So my house should still be valued quite a bit over what I owe.

I'm not actually panicking; I'm just depressed. I'm partially retiring the end of this month. So right now the Dow tanking hurts!
