Seems to be some confusion
That was a disturbing subject line--four cables, all owned by the same company, cut and disrupting service primarily to one country, India. At that point I was ready to declare that something's rotten in Denmark.
However, I'm pretty sure that the Yahoo article is just a rewrite of the previous one. It locates the cut in the same place as Friday's incident and refers only to the previous cut off Alexandria. I checked the FLAG Telecom Web site and they're still reporting only the two incidents (three cables), in an update dated today.
False alarum.
