"Discover" magazine article on the curious biochemistry that ice makes possible...

Did Life Evolve in Ice?

...might seem counter-intuitive, but both Stan Miller and Leslie Orgel saw a lot of merit in the idea. The results - large lengths of RNA - speak for themselves.
