Sports and steroids: ***who cares???***

I don't have a coherent rant, and I realize that my personal opinion does not mean that even the least sports-oriented media outlet I can think of (NPR) should omit covering things like yesterday's Congressional hearings on the matter.

But really -- why does anyone think the American public should give a flying about this?
