I care because those damn drugs screw up the bodies of young athletes.
Also I care because it screws with comparisons between current and past athletes - modern athletes cheat. If we start to have an anything-goes-attitude about what you can do to enhance your performance, then someday pitchers will have their arms amputated and replaced with stainless steel ball chuckers.
