It is just nice...
... to have some solid scientific evidence to back up our theories on such matters.
My next concern is that life like us is also common in the Universe. I keep hoping
for something better, but the galaxies could just as easily be filled with versions of
life on Earth that all want to survive at the cost of everything else.
Maybe the smarter ones will value cooperation over conquest. Maybe.
