as always. Genetically, race is completely an absurd concept. The few differences we see physically are more functions of where our particular ancestors developed than any real difference in our actual design and potential. However, I do happen to believe that societies can dumb themselves down by attempting too hard to maintain their purity. Just as I prefer mixed breed dogs and find them smarter and more adaptable to their surroundings, so can the same be said for humans.

I do have a prejudice that there are nations of the world that have had such closed societies because of either religious or cultural bias that they have degraded the potential of the offspring they produce. I have a hunch that the Mideast is one of those areas as much as our Bible Belt creates inbreeding of WASPs.

Humans will evolve past this eventually as regional mixing eventually occurs but it will move along faster if we can remove some of the institutions that traditionally block that mix or severely degrade their power.

We'll know that day arrives when one goes through the singles ads and no longer sees descriptions such as "SWF seeks SWM" or "DJF looking for eligible Jewish partner". In the future maybe the only message we'll see will be "SHF seeks SHM". (H = human).
