recycling spent fuel rods

I have heard a lot of talk recently about recycling spent fuel rods. I believe a spent fuel rod still has 98% usable uranium. There are some who claim they can recycle these into new fuel rods. This would be a big plus for nuclear power.

I had a good article on it, but I canâ€™t find it.
