Cars today, Ugggghhhhhh!
Talked that over with the kiddies and they are all hopped up on the new Camaro and Mustang, along with the Challenger due out next year. I explained to them that we had no engine monitoring controls and plug in diagnostic ports, the old mechanic who tuned DAD's '65 Chevy Malibu could do more with a dwell meter,timing light, vacum gauge and 'scope than the wunder-kids today in the high end dealers repair dept. For the money, I recommended a 67-69 Camaro-Firebird for the 1st project, teaches money handling and budgeting plus basic auto skills. Now if I can only get the price of gas down to 29.9 cents a gallon.......
