So after killing billions of billions of innocent Alderaan civilians and sending tens of thousands of young Citizens of the Empire to their deaths, Emperor Palpatine, or should I say Darth Sidious(?), wants to kill billions more and spend untold quintillions of galactic credits on a 'surge' based on the failed idea of building YET ANOTHER DEATH STAR!!
We all saw how that worked out the last time it was tried!!!!!!!!!! All for a war that was based on a claim of Alderannian weapons that WERE NOT THERE!!!! Remember how many times his stooge, Vader, has declared 'mission accomplished' only to have his plans and his ship careening wildly off into space?! What a metaphor for this imperial policy!
Lets look at the story so far:
It was a period of civil war.
Rebel spaceships, striking
from a hidden base, had won
their first victory against
the evil Galactic Empire.
During the battle, Rebel
spies managed to steal secret
plans to the Empire's
ultimate weapon, the DEATH
STAR, an armored space
station with enough power
to destroy an entire planet.
Pursued by the Empire's
sinister agents, Princess
Leia races home aboard her
starship, custodian of the
stolen plans that can save her
people and restore
freedom to the galaxy....

TBS:Do you ever read my links, Bo'wizzer, or do you just scan what I write with your bad pseudopod? I really don’t know why I bother fisking this Confederacy propaganda when you refuse to read anything that hasn’t been spoon fed to you by the notoriously pro-Confederacy Main Stream Galacti-Media.
I will go over this one more time for you, not that I believe for a second that it will do any good.
First, you are still using the ridiculous and ambiguous number of "billions of billions of Alderaan civilians killed" from the biased anti-empire website AlderaanDeathCount.org. This number has been shown to be impossible. The final Alderaan census taken just weeks before it’s destruction listed a population of fewer than two billion. One of the founders of the rebel alliance, Obi-Wan Kenobi (wanted for murder and dismemberment of patrons in a Mos Eisley cantina), put the death toll far lower when he said:
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."So which is it? Millions, or "billions of billions"? Furthermore, while imperial cruisers were blockading Alderaan at the time of its destruction, there is evidence that the rebels were in fact responsible for its destruction.
As for Princess Leia Organa’s claims that "Alderaan was peaceful. We had no weapons!â€. Grand Moff Tarkin, who was in charge of the blockade said "The defense system on Alderaan, despite the Senators protestations to the contrary, were as strong as any in the Empire"- who is more qualified to judge? You, or the man on the front lines? Alderaan was a secretive monarchy whose KING, Bail Organa, refused to kneel before the emperor and allow weapons inspectors in. How were we to know that Alderaan had disposed of its weapons from the Clone Wars? The smoking gun evidence of their weapons might have come in the form of an artificially collapsed star system!
Yes, we later learned that Alderaan HAD sent its war machine off into hyperspace on the ship Another Chance, our intelligence was wrong, it doesn’t matter- Bail could have avoided all this by kneeling before our beloved emperor Palpatine, and allowing inspectors. Besides, empire estimates of the death toll from the destruction of alderaan are only a few hundred million.
And of course you had to compare Emperor Palpatine, to a Sith lord. That is ironic, since -if you were around during the New Sith Wars 2000 years ago- you would be protesting against the empire action in driving the Sith out of our region of the galaxy in the first place! In a single day of the New Sith Wars TEN planets were destroyed- yet here you are whining about one planet that may or may not been destroyed by our death star many years ago… you just cannot let it go, can you? More people in the empire die from hovercraft accidents EVERY YEAR than were killed in the destruction of Alderaan!
You liberals have accused our great emperor Palpatine of everything from being a sith lord, to telepathically strangling underlings with his fingers, to being an evil alien Parasite! Give it a rest already!
As for:

TBS:Need I remind you that the original DEATH STAR was forced to have a thermal exhaust port due to regulations written by the liberal imperial senate’s Galactic Environmental Protection Agency under the Klin’Ton administration? These regulations required that : "all planetoid-sized ships of destruction must have a minimum of one thermal exhaust port, easily accessible from the surface, with a diameter of no less than two meters, or, about the size of a Tatooine Womp Rat" - we all know how that turned out, now don’t we?
The new DEATH STAR and the surge will not have the same fatal flaws of the past, no matter how you liberals try to hamstring us- We have learned from our past mistakes and now you will see the power of our FULLY OPERATIONAL DEATH STAR!! You will see the surge succeed- there is no doubt this time!
