What you say makes sense if the sole purpose of firearm ownership is to defend our ourselves, "the people", from each other.
I guess I'm the only one around here that is astounded by the people who 'handwring' over the Patriot Act but would gleefully abolish the only means of combating it and other "Nazi Bush" agenda if they were taken to the extreme.
