A few points
Its a great fantasy that we'll be able to arise with our .22s and shotguns and defeat disciplined and heavily armed troops, but it has never happened before in history , and never will.
And yet, this is what people like you want to leave us with, .22s and shotguns. You wish to outlaw all high power rounds, and eliminate handguns and semi-automatic rifles.
Even in our own revolutionary experience, it was organized conventional armies that finally defeated the Brits, not the Minutemen.
You might want to read up on the Battle of Kings Mountain. Many consider it to be the turning point of the Revolutionary war, and it was won by a bunch of armed "hillbillies" from the backwoods of Appalachia.
