The doors of perception
Perhaps science isn't the only key we need to unlock an understanding of the universe.
Jack Herer posted a link to an absolutely fascinating video that touches somewhat on this subject.
I'd *really* recommend it to everyone here. There are moments when it gets a bit "out there," but recall that the presenter is apparently a trained and accomplished scientist, and the venue itself of course is fairly well respected.
She brings a profound message, one that would seem to indicate that the human ability to truly understand the universe is, as of yet, wholly under-developed...and that the rationale mind by itself is inadequite.
