In re-reading my post I can see where you might have thought I was taking a shot at you Jody, but believe me that was not my intention in any way.

I wasn't trying to say that other people couldn't make such assertions...though I can see how that might have been inferred from my post. I was merely trying to say that Ms Taylor is *particularly* qualified. To say "uniquely" qualified, as I did, was perhaps taking things too far. I meant that because of her studies, and because of her stroke, she has a vantage point that very few others have held. If anyone else, that is.

I absolutely do not believe that "credentials" or a degree are prerequisites for taking part in a discussion. Lord knows I'd have to sit silently on pretty much everything if it were. I apologize for expressing myself so clumsily.
