The general rule of thumb in politics is that "every vote counts" when it's a vote for your side. Other than that, not so much. Were the situation reversed, the Hillary supporter "principles" on this would evaporate. It's kind of like Democratic views on the Electoral College.
Florida and Michigan were warned going into this what would happen. But by all means, let's have Hillary tear Obama's throat out. It's fascinating to watch the media "discover" things about her most of us have known for years.
