A hundred billion people on the Earth is like a gnat in a trash barrel.

All resources are renewable. They may not renew into the same elements but we live in a universe where energy can't be created or destroyed. ALL those folks selling you on the idea that there is an energy crisis because of population growth are...to put it bluntly...uneducated idiots.

In 1961 we already had over 10 different desalinization technologies ready to provide limitless water for the planet's masses. Everything from freezing and brine separation to flash boiling. But people are lazy and cheap. How many desalinization facilities have been built in the US? How many times have we heard the bald-faced lie that "there is a water shortage" or that some part of the world faces an impending water crisis?

What we are facing is a stupidity crisis.

We've had nuclear technologies to provide endless power conversion. What's more we've had rockets capable of disposing nuclear waste into deep space for the past 40 years. What do we hear about instead? Nations wanting to shut down nuclear power plants and more impending "energy crisises" on the horizon.

The food situation is directly linked to the water situation. We could transform the lands of many nations into a farmers' paradise with irrigation and fresh water for crop production. We could feed 100 billion without blinking an eye, much less a mere 7 billion. But what do we hear? We hear about food shortages, famines and mass starvation.

Again...what we are really facing is a stupidity crisis.

We live on a world where most of humanity is not smart enough to survive, much less live well. We live in a world where billions are completely ingnorant of the reality of the world in which they live and are hardly worthy of the term "sentient"- as many live with no more variety of action or thought than the lower animals.

The schools are busy teaching fear because all too many teachers are not bright enough to know better. They are just making a living like everyone else and who are they to buck the system and ignore the global warming crisis, global cooling crisis, ozone hole crisis, water crisis, energy crisis, ______ crisis (insert crisis of your choice) the world is facing in 10, 20, 50, 100 or ______ years? (insert substantial time period of your choice)

We live in a world where capitalism has successfully been turned into a dirty word by the ignorant looters, when it is the sole source and driving force for all of the twentieth century's human achievements! Our electrified world, our automobiles, planes, railroads, ships, homes, medicines, hospitals, computers, radios, televisions, et cetera? All the byproduct of mass production, technological improvements brought about by capitalism.

Do such ignorant people who cannot value capitalism expect to live. much less live well? No. They can't - and they do not. They fear the doom they are actively bringing upon themselves by their own stupidity. They possess only an animal like instinct of fear and so they start moving around in erratic manners and howling. In their fear, they bring the day of their demise that much quicker. They cease to be productive forces working to build wealth and simply become destructive forces that serve no purpose in a constructive society. They deserve the consequences their ignorance brings down upon them, simply because nature does not reward individual animals or species that destroy themselves or do not learn to discern good from evil. A global Darwin awards is underway and those with minds and the mindless will be put to the test.

The few with minds have carried these mindless masses for most of human history. The fearful have constantly stood in the way of progress, have obstructed, defied and denounced the ideas that would later be proven invaluable to man.

I can give you a hint on who will survive this next coming suicidal march of lemmings.

It won't be the hysteric, mindless ones trying to run the masses, which comprise western civilization, off the cliff of their choice - or those who join in this mob of utter stupidity, too dim to see the mindless ones for what they are.

The survivors will be the builders. Not the destroyers who inherit and have not the brainpower to appreciate what the builders have given them.

Look around you. You will soon be able to classify all those you know.

Pardon my bluntness in this post. Watching folks around the world grab blankets and matches and set themselves alight has always brought out such bluntness. Survival requires brutal honesty. And those few who can take from my words some measure of perspective and vision of what quasi-utopia the world COULD be if only the world did not demonstrate the huge mental deficit it now possesses, make such honesty worth my time and effort.
