Transcendence above all he says and we'd be transcended like Christ. We are meant to be here to experience and transcend he experiences, not our own egos. The problem with too many philosophers is they focus on self, self, self. It is not about self, it is about others, becoming transcendent over circumstances, putting out your hand to help some other poor slob out of the gutters of hell.
You can do that many ways. Not just money. You do by making a friend laugh when they're down, by encouraging someone who needs it, by loving all about you who are family and friends and then extending that to others.
And that is the essence of human experience, not wallowing in self-ego.
