I think Lee is talking about natural competition of resources. We see that everywhere in nature. Scientist have even see a group of ‘peaceful’ porpoises attack another porpoises that was not part of their clan.
Clanning together and fighting over resources is very instinctive and natural. But we are supposed to be a civilized species and we should put such instinctive, animalistic behaviors behind us.
