Good answers

Not sure I agree with all of them but that's what makes debate fun when people speak to you with respect.

Look, my current support for Obama is not with blinders on. I question why any sane individual would want to be President for the next term. Whoever takes the job is going to get hammered by problems.

My primary worry though is not the economy, not health care, not the evironment, but simple one pressing concern - foreign policy. (It would be population control but that seems to be off limits in political discourse right now). I do believe that all those other things won't happen until we stop playing policeman to the world because we'll bankrupt ourselves out of solutions to all the other issues.

Of all the candidates, the only one that doesn't seem to be trigger happy if (and in all likelihood when) the next violent slap (or false flag situation) is directed at the United States. We know McCain will immediately go military in response. Hillary, I fear believes that she must out-macho the men to overcome the perception of a woman commander in chief as weak and feminine so I am under the impression that 3AM response will be to send in the missiles and sort things out later.

The only candidate that has shown he seems to understand a balance of strength and diplomacy is Obama. He is the only one that opposed the Iraq War from the beginning, not because he felt Saddam was a saint but because he looked at the cultural mess that would ensue. He's got that worldly experience that everyone discounts growing up in such diverse environments. Right now we need the world to take a few breaths of relief when viewing our political landscape. I don't see that tension diminishing with McCain or Clinton in the White House.

I don't want issues of life and death decided by political calculation, how they'll play to Joe NASCAR in rural America and that's what I see in the last decade of Senator Clinton from support of flag burning legislation and votes to authorize use of force in Iran. Those things which should be abhorrent to any American given the erosion of Constitutional guarantees and the global tensions reinforce in me that she is compellled to continually show her toughness and nationalistic side.

I'll still vote for her over McCain but I'll be extremely angry over it because after this campaign she'd be last on my list of all the possible Democratic candidates. If she attains the White House I'll remain extremely wary for our future and that of my children. There will be worries about our future if Obama becomes President as well but more that he'll be tarnished by the nearly impossible tasks the next administration will face no matter who wins.
