I have absolutely no soft and fuzzy feelings about weirdo western polygamous cults, but so far I've seen no proof yet that anything illegal or abusive was going on out there, not even the alleged whistle-blowing witness has turned up yet. So far, the worst crime I've seen is bad haircuts.
I suggest all the mothers be interviewed and offered protection and shelter for them and their children if they choose it;
since the marriages are not legal the fathers have no legal rights to those kids. But as long as no one at that compound is being held there by force, I say leave them alone.
