Thats right, so did I, the Fourmyle comix version. Excellent!
But in a way, that IS the book, just published in a different way. There are a lot of books available in facsimile on the net. What I normally mean is the general way information is usually presented on the web, in a condensed, streamlined fashion, with side bars and hyperlinks and graphics. There is certainly a place for this kind of presentation, especially for textbooks and tech manuals, but the traditional book also takes advantage of an extremely simple and powerful, standardized and uniform format for presentation, one requiring only language and the skill of the writer to communicate thought. History has evolved a sophisticated and effective method of communication, and thousands of generations have
evolved a means of accessing it that writers have learned to write for. A book is very different from say, a movie, or a multi-media website. All these have their place, they even do some things better than books, but they are not the same.
