And the failed rescue attempt of the Iran Hostages it seems the millitary ramped up it's special ops forces and equipment, only to have this equipment turn domestic in the late 80's to early 90's. 9/11 was the final straw for the feds to come downon the general population and we citizens pay the price in lines and who know what covert intrusions into our files.
