Before we discuss the properties of telepathy...

...we first have to determine such a thing exists. I don't believe it does, and I've never had anyone show me even the slightest hint that it might. For telepathy to exist, the function itself has to be demonstrated to me, or at least a plausible mechanism by which it operates must first be shown to exist. There is nothing even close to either available.

You see, there are a lot of things that might be true, but probably aren't. UFOs, Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster fall in this category. No one has proven they've seen them, and they are highly unlikely for a variety of circumstantial reasons, but at least they violate no established physical law. Other types of phenomena, such as astrology, ghosts, Atlantis, and the Bermuda Triangle not only have no empirical verification, they violate multiple well established physical laws which we have plenty of evidence for. Telepathy falls in the latter category.

I simply cannot accept it, not because I am closed-minded or afraid or ultra-orthodox or super conservative or any other reason other than I have never been convinced it does or could happen, no one has ever shown me. As far as I'm concerned, its about as believable as Santa Claus.
