Once the brain develops the ability to match frequencies and wavelenghts it's all induction after that.
Not only does telepathy exist between certain very close individuals, but large segments of humanity are the unwilling recipients of one-sided telepathy all the time in the form of mental illness and those who are victims of compulsive disorders, tourettes, schizoprenia and a plethora of phobias.
The best example is hate and anger. In a room with someone angry enough the discharge/generation of brain energy creates a reaction in all those around. The induction is automatic and those nearby will immediately have to compensate with their thoughts. Fear may be generated, tension or equal anger may suddenly appear.
This is all imprecise because of these wave and frequency variances and each individual, and their brain, becomes a transformer for nearby minds. They can be elevated or brought down by the process.
I've observed that developed folks quickly are discharged in large crowds. They experience a step-down and become physically exhausted even though there exists no apparent physical reason for their sudden sense of depletion. As a result they intuitively temper their social activities so as to avoid the discharge.
Alternatively, some folks are elated and charged by large crowds and it seems as if the group feeds them energy.
Science hasn't barely even begun to realize the synaptical electrical field aspects and the way these fields generate and influence ALL human thought. All these fields and changes which influence these fields determine the outcome.
Some years ago, when 2 female acquaintenances of mine were in a car crash, and one died, I had a waking daydream of the same at the exact moment of the collision. I felt that sudden violent and disturbing, yet all too familiar, shock of disconnect of violent death which disconnects our field from the physical body. I was startled at the image and sensation and when I found out later what had happened I was amazed at how we are connected to those we know even when we are miles and miles away.
I was a bundle of nerves for awhile afterwords because such induction creates a mental shock which reverberates through all the physical structures.
Everything regarding consciousness is attunement and induction. Whether it is the inducing of wave forms and creating thought from our five senses which further react and influence existing synaptic fields or from vague as yet unidentified sources.
Telepathy is something that would be vastly destructive to certain species in a heightened form. Ants, Bees and other "groupthink" species can use it very efficiently, albeit - at the expense of their own individuality. We can discern that when and where humanity develops and fine tunes this type of thought transfer, it too will likely be far less individualistic than it currently expresses. Perhaps some human colony in deep space will be the first to develop it, or perhaps in some genetically inbred future region on Earth or as the result of questionable experimentation...wherever it appears it will be fascinating to see the fallout.
