Empathy is not Telepathy
Plenty of people can "feel" the pulse of a room, know who is what, who to speak to for maximum effect. Many people can intuit things from non-tangible evidence. We all know people who are great listeners, and always seem to know when you need to get something off your chest.
Fortune tellers make money from this (quite ordinary) human skill. Trained horses in circusses sometimes appear to be able to count, by following subtle and perhaps even subconscious clues from their trainer.
But none of this is telepathy. It's just Empathy or EQ
