The war is won, but we still need to wait for the results to gel. Don't remove the supports until the concrete has hardened. I see a gradual withdraw starting in January and continuing for about five years. The Iraqi army still needs to build capability and an "Esprit de corps". The Iraqi airforce needs to be greatly expanded, as does the Iraqi Navy. Lots of work is still needed, but a strong foundation has been laid to build upon.
