...in recent years I have found out what the infamous
quip/message in the TV show, "Laugh In", actually means.
The infamous message on the TV show "Laugh in" was?
"Sock it to me!"
Yes, it was 40 years ago, and the TV censors didn't
understand it was a deliberately cryptic distortion of... [to be delicate
and clinical]...a call or request for receiving "oral sex" in that age of so-called "free love".
That's not the only cryptic obscene message delivered
back then.
I can think of the rock group, "The Who", and their
infamous single, "My Generation", where singer
Roger Daltry belts out, "...this is my generation, baby, I hope
you all f-f-f-f-f-f-ade away."
Roger Daltry didn't dare belt out the actual "F" word ["F" bomb]
actually intended or meant.
