ER spelled it all out and made his point. I have seen other relationships fall by the wayside because one wanted kids and the other didn't. My son's girlfriend left him last year because she wanted a baby, and he was years from going there. She's now 6 months into another relationship and three months pregnant. Thank God his tears are dry.

I also realize that 20 years in age difference can be tough on a relationship to survive, and I also know I don't want to be raising any kids after the age of 50 anyway, so I understand your POV.
As for her husbands "unwarranted jealousy"?
He knows you were serious once, and there's always that window of doubt.
I certainly have been in and out of relationships that could be threatening to a new beau of mine. It would depend on the strength of the current relationship and how secure they were.
