They are essentially us. Therefore all the incursion doesn't seem so bad considering what we got for it.
Add some disgusting physical attributes and cultural peculiarities and the whole scenario breaks down. If all they have is pointy ears and a stoic manner we are one big happy family and we might wind up selling them the Brooklyn Bridge.
