One of my regrets...
... is that I got into planetary science too late to meet with Carl Sagan. I would have liked to have had one talk, over a coffee or whatever. He had a way of looking at issues from a completely different angle. I try to do something similar myself, but *my* angle will never be *his* angle...
I've met with many other people who were or will be *important*. It's good to know your enemy, and if you KNOW your friend, you're a lucky man...
