Wikipedia has a lot more on the Oort Cloud than I knew before I looked it up. Good article.

Granted, there's a LOT of speculation here, but the basic hypothesis isn't particularly goofy, nor does it require a lot of "X-factors" to make it work. Although the "Nemesis" bit is getting close.
