Latest simulation

Yet another simulation. It ran on a computer programmed by scientists so it MUST be true. Just like the bogus simulations Carl Sagan touted in the late 80s which showed very solar system like extrasolar systems, but then WHOOPS! reality intruded and those pesky hot Jupiters, totally unpredicted by those oh so scientific simulations ruined the party.

Once again, I support simulation activity; I just don't accept the results uncritically. The predictions made in this latest simulation which (Shock!) contradict previous results are testable and falsifyable. That's science. Assuming that Kepler launches in '09, we'll have results within 3 years that show the prevalance or non-existance of Earth sized planets in HZs. Then we can write some brand new simulation model code.
