I have no problem with being skeptical of simulations. I have a problem with rejecting results because they are a simulation, particularly when simulations are the only tool available to answer the questions at hand. I agree completely that simulations are only as good as the models they are built on. Prior to the discovery of real extrasolar planets modelers failed to take into account how protoplanetary matter could cause planets to spiral inward. Once they bothered to try to estimate that potential impact it was easy to include, just like it was for me when I forgot to include a solvent boundary in my disorption model.
I have not seen any climate model that does not predict increasing CO2 levels will increase Earth's temperature. Variations in results come primarily from differences in the variables chosen to model.
