Well?

What historical event happened in September, 1938 that
caused LIBERALS like yourself, back in those years, to call Winston Churchill a "war monger", a conservative reactionary, etc.?

ANSWER: Why...it was the Sudetenland Crisis.

The Sudetenland, which belonged to Czechoslovakia [a democratic nation] had a large German population...And Hitler used that excuse to send his tanks and troops
into the Sudetenland in October, 1938 to "protect the Germans living in the
Sudetenland from the violent oppression of the Czech government."

Well....Guess what that led to?
