Looks like a false alarm
There's a lot of confusion and misinformation, if not outright lies and propaganda coming from both sides in this conflict.
What's simply amazing is that George Bush is heralding the Georgians as heros. For heaven's sake, they launched a rocket attack on a population center last Friday. How heroic is that?
We should all remember that there are two sides, if not three or four, in this conflict, and they're all right in their own minds!
People in Tskhinvali…very clearly blame Georgia for the fighting and are extremely angry with President Mikhail Saakashvili, comparing him to Adolf Hitler. Russian troops have been greeted in Tskhinvali as lifesavers.
