The Russian forces are a joke.
Get a look at the equipment. Looks like something straight out of W.W.II. While we can't get involved directly, Georgia isn't worth triggering a nuclear exchange, we could better equip the Georgian forces if we wanted to. TOW missiles would make quick kills out of those isolated Russian armored columns driving around, but the Georgians don't appear to have much of a fighting spirit. Guess that's why they want to join NATO, they'd feel right at home.
