CRAWFORD, Texas - "President Bush sent a stern warning to Russia on Saturday that it cannot lay claim to two breakaway provinces in neighboring Georgia, a U.S. ally, and said there was no room for debate on that point."
I wonder why I'm not reading foreign leaders or journalists who are pointing out the hypocrisy of Bush lecturing Russia over invading foreign countries? There certainly was less justification for the invasion of Iraq than the invasion of Georgia, Iraq has been a far bloodier affair than Georgia, and has gone on much longer. It sure seems clear that Bush would do well to try to stay out of sight rather than being so ridiculous. That goes for McCain, too.
Maybe it's just that the media won't print such criticisms. Or it hasn't occurred to any of them. Maybe they're afraid of Bush. I don't know.
