I'm watching the replay on TV right now and I must say there is one big difference I notice: the televison doesn't really reproduce just how loud it was in the stadium. At the beginning, when he is just saying "thank-you" over and over, we couldn't hear any of that. All we hear was the crowd, clapping, chanting, whistling, and shouting. During the speech, it was hard to hear due to the din of democrats cheering their candidate. When Invesco Stadium was built, it was designed to be like the old Mile High Stadium - when you stamp your feet it is like a drum. So not only was it loud but the whole place was shaking.
It made the hour in line, and all the weird logistics to get the tickets, worth it.
