The GOP will not miss any opportunity to exploit a perceived weakness much less a real one. I'm not applying for Press Secretary, but when I see a marked difference in potential future outcomes I work towards them. A 2009 in which Palin is working to help turn things around economically is a lot more appealing than a Biden.
Politics is a nasty business. I've held my tongue until McCain made his decision. I'm satisfied that his choice now makes mine much easier. Palin has something I haven't seen in awhile - a youthful energy that's not yet totally fake, a person whose not had their entire being managed by polling.
She is the true "change" offered in this election. Hillary, Obama, McCain, Biden - all false claimants. NONE of these folks have what Palin has.
Time will tell if the rest of America agrees.
